Luke 9:28-36 & Matthew 17:1-13
There are some striking similarities between the lives and ministry of Elijah, Elisha and Jesus. One only has to take a look at their miracles or the symbolism behind their names. Ultimately Jesus’s life, ministry, death and resurrection is the fulfillment of Elijah and Elisha’s struggle for the identity of God’s people. A struggle we still face today. What are some practices from the life of Elijah, Elisha and Jesus that can help us live our lives today?
