• “Building a community of disciples of Jesus,
with a passion to worship God,
    who care for one another
and bring God’s love into a broken world”

Maurits & Margot Stevens

Maurits (1978) and Margot Stevens (1981) are married since 2003 and have three children. Maurits serves as Pastor in Vineyard Groningen since January 2007. He came to faith in Jesus Christ as Saviour and Lord during his study on physical education in Groningen. He came to meet Margot at a sports and evangelism organisation (Athletes in Action) where Margot worked with. Together they began to explore how God could use them in mission, while Maurits began his studies on theology at the Evangelical Theological Acadamy. Church planting and strengthening the Church in Western Europe is really on their hearts. After a small adventure in looking for mission opportunities in Sweden, the international church in Assen came with the request to minister in their midst as pastors. Since them Margot and Maurits really fell in love with this church and her beautiful mission of reaching the international community in the North of the Netherlands.

Ernst & Anke Bodamer

We are Ernst (1951) and Anke (1955) Bodamer. We are married since 1981 and have 3 sons, of whom two are married. We are blessed with 5 lovely granddaughters. Ernst has earned a Bachelor in Theology degree at European Nazarene College in Büsingen, Switzerland.
Since 1985 we have served in different roles in several churches. In the year 2000 God called us to the International Christian Church Assen, now Vineyard Groningen. In 2006 we left the church and served 2 other churches. Just before the move to Groningen, by the end of 2011, we came back and became members of Vineyard Groningen. We love the Kingdom focus, the international atmosphere and feel privileged to be members of the leadership team.
In our free time we like to travel, walking with our dog, and of course we love to spend time with our children and granddaughters! We are looking forward to what God is going to do in Groningen, and in our own life! We know for sure, despite challenges we have had at times, we are serving a good God. There is no one like HIM!

Matthijs & Mirjam den Dekker

Matthijs and Mirjam first met in 2007, got married in 2011 and, as of April 2015, are the proud parents of a beautiful little girl. Their involvement with Vineyard Groningen began in early 2012 when, to their own surprise, they found they both felt very much at home there right from the start.Matthijs and Mirjam enjoy the home group of which they are part and also love the growing relations, learning and serving that comes with taking part in the current leadership team.In addition to the low-key, informal atmosphere of Vineyard as a whole Mirjam is especially drawn also by the diversely intercultural dimension of being part of this community of believers.Matthijs is fascinated by the idea that God’s love shows in freedom and acceptance and the question of how Christians and churches can live that out in daily life.Matthijs loves good food, good books, movies and geocaching. Mirjam enjoys a well-made coffee, time with close friends, seeing things grow in her garden patch, baking and generally creating things.
